Yesterday, I:

*Got drunk before noon
*Went shopping at Target
*Ate dinner at McDonald's

...but I did it all wearing this shirt, so I don't think I'm going to be welcomed in Middle America just yet.

Not that my being welcome in any part of America is gonna matter much longer, as I leave for London/Dublin in ONE WEEK.

Ahem.

ONE WEEK!

I am so excited and so terrified that the combination of emotions is too overwhelming; I just feel nothing. Numbness. Well, right now I mostly feel hungry, but you know what I mean.

Any second I'm going to start freaking out; it just hasn't happened yet.

Any second.

It didn't hit me that I was gone until I was on the plane. It sucks to start crying right before takeoff - make sure you have lots of tissues. :(

It passes! And then you get back to the "wow, I'm going to be in Ireland!!!!!" part. and then, about 15 hours into the journey, you decide you don't give a damn where they let you off the plane, so long as they let you off it *soon*. :)

What airline are you flying? I was on a Qantas flight once where they served alcohol to 18+ year olds until we entered US airspace, and then they had to stop. :)
