Put another dime in the jukebox, baby.

First order of business:
siriaeve is making awesome icons again. Yet she refuses to self-promote! So allow me to speak for her and say, CHECK OUT THESE AWESOME ICONS.
Second,
fatuorum made a beautiful and clever cover for my fic The Bang and the Clatter.

Now go tell her how awesome it is! And/or snag the nifty matching wallpaper!
In a similar vein, I seem to be writing another AU. I don't know what's up with me, and this fandom, and AUs--I didn't write a single AU the entire time I was in Buffydom. Well, I wrote some things that were quickly jossed and thus ended up AUs, and I guess I wrote that one, "Well what if 'Pangs' happened like THIS?" story, but, like, I never wrote one where Buffy and Spike are flight attendants and also they FIGHT CRIME. Yet now I want to write the McKay/Sheppard version of that story. *smacks self*
Anyway, I'm enjoying this one so far *winks at
jarsy,
randomeliza, and
siriaeve* but Rodney's being all weird and quiet, and it's starting to freak me out. So as distraction/inspiration/whatever, I'm gonna do this meme:
Comment on this post, and I will send you a song that reminds me of you or that I just think you'll really like. Mmm, mp3s.
Also, here is a picture of me and a kitten:

(Thanks,
nenar!)
Because randomness WINS.

Date: 2006-02-08 11:03 pm (UTC)I approve of Sarah Harmer. I think she's kind of a cross of Sarah McLaughlin (but with less pretension) and Sheryl Crow (but with a better voice.) The one that made me love her was The Hideout (http://s49.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=114Z2K5947C9U3IY0R397ME6TP) but my favorite is Around This Corner (http://s49.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1C3XQM8CEQ96G20GHQZD05XWR8). Because it's bouncy.
And whee! I have not heard this song (or this artist) before and I am liking it. Very much. Thank you!
