Rioting in Dublin

This is what's going on. I haven't been out of my room, so I haven't seen anything first hand, but siriaeve came into town for some innocent shoe-shopping and got caught up in it. She's safe with me now, but she explains what's happening much more clearly.

We are both fine. We're in my room at college, and Trinity's behind a big fuck-off wall. We're fine.

niannah, lil_nibbler, any other Dublin people--are you all okay?

This is not something I expected to have happen today.

Oh hell, I had forgotten they were coming here today. I'm out in Rathmines so I'm okay, but I've lost my stupid phone so I can't call my friends.

What do people think is going to happen when the loyalists march in Dublin?

I don't know. The whole thing was a disaster, from start to finish. But at least it's over now.
