Rioting in Dublin

This is what's going on. I haven't been out of my room, so I haven't seen anything first hand, but siriaeve came into town for some innocent shoe-shopping and got caught up in it. She's safe with me now, but she explains what's happening much more clearly.

We are both fine. We're in my room at college, and Trinity's behind a big fuck-off wall. We're fine.

niannah, lil_nibbler, any other Dublin people--are you all okay?

This is not something I expected to have happen today.

Hey, thanks for the concern. I am safe at home on the southside (near Dun Laoghaire) and stil recovering from surgery. I hope you are ok? It's kinda scary, I've been trans-fixed to the news all afternoon.

Glad you're all right. I think everyone mostly is. It was tense for a while, though!
