The trees for all the forest

I am completely in awe of the stuff that's coming out of the current artword challenge, and only partly because it's all based on Realm of Dryads. ;-) But, bias aside, you absolutely must check out:

1. The beautiful cover and incredibly intense trailer gambits_rogue made;

and 2. The poster, collage, and icons by newkidfan. I...I don't have words to describe how amazing these are. But the icon on this post is just a small taste of the incredible work newkidfan did; go check out the rest.

gambits_rogue also made the point that "Realm of Dryads" was inspired by slodwick's picfor1000 challenge, and so it came from an image, and has since been used as inspiration for more images via artword, which makes this a wonderful cycle of creative energy. It's just so cool!

And to top it all off: I got the story's title from one of the Patrick O'Brian books (I no longer remember which), from Stephen Maturin's description of St. Stephen's Green in which he calls it a "realm of dryads." And today I went walking there with dizzyditz.
