God, there is nothing I hate more than waiting. I have a very clear list of goals for myself for tomorrow, but that doesn't help me tonight, nor does it stop me from feeling emotionally in limbo. Why can't I have a clean break? I already feel like I don't live here anymore; I just want to be back in L.A. and have it be done.

Gah. Distractions? Please?

I'm not sure it counts as a distraction, but on a completely random note: I was wandering through Newcastle yesterday, and I stumbled across a guitar store called McKay's Music. Being the total fangirl I am, I immediately thought "Ooh, bandverse!" and took a picture. Hooray for reality providing fic-fodder.

(I would have uploaded the photo, but tragically the batteries in my camera are dead at the moment. Alas!)
