Been working all afternoon on my Hitchhiker articles. I'm really curious as to how y'all are going to react to this movie.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt. The one thing that really bugged me, though, far more than the "abbreviated" feel, was the tacked-on romance between Arthur and Trillian. ::vomits:: I never knew I was so cold-hearted.

Apparently DNA wanted them to have more of a romance in the film. Prolly a way to Hollywood it up, although I'm sure it was planned better in DNAs version. I hope that the inclusion of the perspective gun won't mean no total perspective vortex if they adapt the other books.
