Pegasus 2

I just bought a ticket to Pegasus 2 even though 1) it's in England, 2) it's expensive, and 3) I have no idea if I will be allowed to take time off work. But siriaeve, randomeliza, and megolas are going! And I desperately want to see them, and I really, really miss Europe. Maybe I'm only freaking out about the purchase because I'm not used to really buying myself stuff or spending money not on food. (Or rent. Or, okay, books.)

In other news, I went up to Berkeley this weekend and thus am even more out of the loop than normal. What's going on? Did people like 'Progeny'? I'm tired. Can I take a nap now?

You can always hang with us—with siriaeve, megolas, randomeliza, and myself. We all already know each other, so hopefully that little bit of social protection will enable those of us who are usually social messes (IOW, me) to loosen up and fangirl with EVERYONE. Which I totally want to do.

As for money—there's a major set of holidays between now and the con. That's what I'm counting on. *g*

Oh, thank you for the offer! It's all very tempting- the logistics of getting there may be a problem, as I'll most likely have lectures on the Friday and Monday either side, but no doubt I could wrangle it somehow. *considers*

Hm, the money issue. Theoretically I have money to spare, but it's all student loans, which I'm not terribly eager to spend. I'll have to think about it some more, probably.
