Dear LJ--

Thank you for deciding that my layout (and my gorgeous banner! *clings to [livejournal.com profile] siriaeve*) suddenly doesn't exist. In your opinion, should I 1) freak out and start fiddling with it, 2) wait and hope it fixes itself on its own, or 3) drive up to San Francisco and start throwing tomatoes at you guys?*

No love,

Trin

*Well, okay, obviously No. 3 would be an overreaction, not to mention a waste of perfectly good produce. But WTF, man?

well if you do choose option three, I'll feed you dinner while you're up here.

I'd totally take you up on that offer, and even offer to supply some tomatoes for the meal, but the drive's 6 hours+ and I'd miss SGA. ;-)

The drive might be six hours, but you could probably save a little time by collecting the tomatoes on your way, since so many fall off the trucks driving up the 5.

And yeah, usually with these things if you fiddle then there'll eventually be permanent disaster, rather than recovery when they go "oh we're stupid."

I don't think you should fiddle with it yet. I know others were having a similar problem a few days ago and LJ staff replied that if they went in and fiddled with it then it wouldn't be fixed when the bug was taken care of.

Ahh, I feared as much. Okay, in that case I shall control my reaction of "ewww..." to the dull dull blue they've currently stuck me with.

What consistency is this spinach? Fresh? Frozen? Cooked and soggy?

The joke being in relation to the e. coli outbreak. Have you watched the news recently? There's a huge outbreak involving bagged fresh spinach. A lot of people are sick!

*smacks forehead* Of course, I was just reading about that! *utterly fails at putting two and two together*

*but still likes the idea of hurling her mom's creamed spinach at people*

I'd go with 2, although I have to question the wisdom of changing, without informing or asking permission from, the customized layouts of paying customers, or even non paying customers.

And gas.

Option three, though thereputic, is not at all cost effective.

It seems that everyone is writing 'Dear LJ' posts, myself included.

I'm all for change, but people: do it right!

*misses your banner*
