Man, I have felt so bored and boring lately. Thank God [livejournal.com profile] neery was here, but now she's gone away and I am sad. *pout* Also, I called around to about 80 million people in an effort to get SGA's S2 release date, only to find out that it's been pushed back to next year. (The person who had the info very much amused me, however, by announcing, "But Stargate SGI is coming out next week!" Yes, SGI. Like CSI's cousin in space?)

So anyway, yes: *pout*

I'm stuck doing photo research and I need a brainless distraction. Lyrics meme:

1. So many dirty things / You couldn’t even believe — Extreme Ways, Moby ([livejournal.com profile] moonlash_cc)

2. No one should brave the underworld alone — Hello, Poe ([livejournal.com profile] walkingshadow)

3. Never more to sail my ship / Where no man has gone before — I Will Go Sailing No More, Randy Newman ([livejournal.com profile] sara86)

4. Will it be too late? / You can’t fight fate — Out of Control, U2 ([livejournal.com profile] not_sally)

5. Please don’t confront me with my failures / I had not forgotten them — These Days, Nico ([livejournal.com profile] walkingshadow)

6. It’s hard to be a man when there’s a gun in your hand — Head Over Heels, Tears For Fears ([livejournal.com profile] redfirecracker)

7. I left my baby and it feels so bad — I Fought the Law, The Clash ([livejournal.com profile] walkingshadow)

8. It’s not / What you thought / When you first began it — Wise Up, Aimee Mann ([livejournal.com profile] cincodemaygirl)

9. The luck I’ve had / Can make a good man turn bad — Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want, The Smiths ([livejournal.com profile] _inbetween_)

10. Then one day, he went away / And I thought I’d die—but I didn’t — Is That All There Is?, Peggy Lee ([livejournal.com profile] laughingacademy)

11. You think you’re all alone / With the pain that you drain from love — Andy, You're a Star, The Killers ([livejournal.com profile] miasnape)

12. Maybe I’ll never die I’ll just keep growing younger with you — Wraith Pinned to the Mist (and Other Games), Of Montreal ([livejournal.com profile] randomeliza)

13. Combat salacious removal — Length of Love, Interpol ([livejournal.com profile] moonlash_cc)

14. It was a ray gun / And it was 1981 — The Hardest Button to Button, The White Stripes ([livejournal.com profile] miasnape)

15. I fell for you like a child / Oh, but the fire went wild — Ring of Fire, Johnny Cash ([livejournal.com profile] siriaeve)

16. I don’t know if we’re in a garden / Or on a crowded avenue — I Only Have Eyes For You, The Flamingos ([livejournal.com profile] redfirecracker)

17. I feel the whip / And I know it’s out of love - Fistful of Love, Antony and the Johnsons ([livejournal.com profile] miasnape)

18. Dream on my dear / And renounce temporal obligations — The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove, Dead Can Dance ([livejournal.com profile] moonlash_cc)

19. Even tomorrow in other arms / My heart will stay yours until I die

20. It’s not forever we can fool around in the dark — La Familia, Mirah ([livejournal.com profile] vassilissa)

21. Everything is clear in my heart — Oh My Love, John Lennon ([livejournal.com profile] riva_today)

22. You’ve got teeth for biting and you’ve bore a hole in me

23. But where are the songs for me to sing along / When I am hoping someone writes one for me

24. Companion to our demons / They will dance - Fumbling Toward Ecstasy, Sarah McLachlan ([livejournal.com profile] miasnape)

25. I thank my stars because near or far there are friends I can count on any day — David Hewlett in Ice Men ([livejournal.com profile] randomeliza [and [livejournal.com profile] siriaeve, kinda])

Unrelated: Neil Gaiman's new short story collection came out yesterday, but I haven't gotten to read it yet and I brought it to work with me apparently because I am a masochist and I really want to read it and it's sitting right here STARING at me and why oh why can't it be "Read Short Stories at Work Day" today? PLEASE?

ETA: And 'cause I've just been wondering about this: have all of the Bulwer-Lytton winners received their prizes? It's been more than a month since the first bunch went out, and a couple weeks since the second. I hope they've arrived!

Indeed. OMG SO MUCH LOVE.

SciFi switched DVD distributors. Although why that still enables them to get SG-1 out on time, I do not know...

It's partly because SciFi, or rather MGM, changed DVD distributors from Sony to Fox. Though, as I said above, I don't see why they can still get SG-1 out, but not SGA. Very annoying.
