trinityofoneYou know, I was going to write some sort of deep follow-up to 'The Tower,' psychoanalyzing Sheppard to within an inch of his life. Instead, I wrote this. *eg*
Title: Tactics

Summary: ‘The Tower’ tag. “I didn’t, you know.”
Tactics
“I didn’t, you know. Sleep with her.”
“Uh-huh.” There’s still a smudge of dirt by Rodney’s mouth; it’s very distracting.
“No, I was just trying to keep her quiet, make sure she didn’t cause a fuss.” John pauses, casually scratching his head. “So I went down on her.”
“WHAT?”
“Yeah, until she passed out.”
Rodney recovers sufficiently to ask, “From boredom?”
“From intensity of orgasm, Rodney.” John smiles, easy and slow, maneuvering the glassy-eyed and seemingly paralyzed scientist toward the bed. “Here,” he says, giving Rodney’s chest a hard shove, dropping to his knees. “Let me show you.”

Let this be a lesson to you, Stargate people! Give us complex, awesome episodes like 'Grace Under Pressure,' and I will do my best to write quiet, thoughtful codas! Give us shallow, poorly thought out filler like 'The Tower' and you get, well, this. ;-)

Though probably good to put a filler after GUP, because it was such a strong episode pretty much anything was going to be pale in comparison. Might as well make it purposefully so (TPTB needed time to recover).
