What a difference a year makes.

I can't believe this. A year ago yesterday, I posted my first SGA fic.

I can't believe that it's been only a year, and I can't believe that it's been an entire year.

I can't believe that this fandom has been so wonderful and responsive and encouraging of my work. I can't believe that I have written so many stories, or that they remain as poorly organized as they are. (Actually, I can believe that last one. *shame*)

I'm glad I found this place, and I'm glad I'm still here and that you're still here. If I were better organized, I would have arranged some anniversary story for you all, but (see above) organization is not my strong suit, so. I just want to say thank you. It's been a hell of a year, and I'll never forget it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go over here and be extremely verklempt.

*resounding forehead smack* Yes, yes, I absolutely want to continue to work on that—I'm so sorry I've spazzed out on it. It's a crazy week for me—'zine story due, wedding, blah blah blah. But I've love what we have so far—especially what YOU have done so far.

Can I promise to be better next week? You can kick my ass.

it's all good! I've been out of town the past several days, myself, and I know how things go, with real life and all. Stupid real life! grrrr...

Weddings and zines and blah blah blah are totally valid excuses, so just tag when you get the chance, and I'll pick up from there.

*wanders off to do work, because it'd be nice to finish my alternate-universe-Rodney story before canon does it (with a lot less sex, as canon tends to)*
