What a difference a year makes.

I can't believe this. A year ago yesterday, I posted my first SGA fic.

I can't believe that it's been only a year, and I can't believe that it's been an entire year.

I can't believe that this fandom has been so wonderful and responsive and encouraging of my work. I can't believe that I have written so many stories, or that they remain as poorly organized as they are. (Actually, I can believe that last one. *shame*)

I'm glad I found this place, and I'm glad I'm still here and that you're still here. If I were better organized, I would have arranged some anniversary story for you all, but (see above) organization is not my strong suit, so. I just want to say thank you. It's been a hell of a year, and I'll never forget it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go over here and be extremely verklempt.

I hope your freaking out means "This is awesome in the way that David Hewlett's posterior is!" and not "Jesus, nine months and I still haven't been able to shake off the Irish freak."

Neither! It's more like, "Only nine months? But it feels like I've known you forever!" (In the good way.)

I may e-mail you in a little bit. I'm supposed to be working (obviously), but I had to stay late last night and I'm just so exhausted and stressed. Ugh.

Verklempt is okay; it's more "emotionally overwrought." This is a full-blown SPAZ ATTACK.
