At the start of each mess hall scene, there was the sound of laughing, including one (to me) incredibly disturbing bit of male laughter. Was that Sheppard? I thought maybe it was Ronon (although it didn't really sound like him), but now I think it must have been Sheppard. (Or else a really bad sound effect.) In which case, siriaeve was right, and John has the most disturbing laugh ever.

Yes, well. We haven't really heard him laugh before, so I think it probably was.

However, Sheppard being disturbing is pretty much par for the course, isn't it?
